    Happened by chance about a month ago to see roof tours of the Pavilion, tours limited to four people. Not something to be missed!

    Started through the public area, the familiar bamboo stair railings.

    Then through a locked door at the end of the upper floor corridor.{CAPTION}

    Attractive fairly grandiose staircase for the servants.

    A narrow and difficult staircase to the room below one of the domes.

    Inside the room, ladder giving access to the space under the dome. Ladder access not part of the tour!

    An interesting decorative feature, only visible on the roof, a sort of unnecessary ornamental flying buttress. Cannot get far enough away to photograph them both in one picture.
